The Autumn 2026 Edition of Outlook is here. Topics in this issue include:

  • The Hillside Trust announces the permanent preservation of a quarter-acre hillside in Mt. Adams, creating the new Filson Place Overlook and protecting an important scenic view of Cincinnati. The preservation effort marks the culmination of more than 20 years of community and conservation efforts.

  • The issue highlights several major hillside development proposals across the region, including Glen Eagles in North Bend, Grandview Estates in Alexandria, Kentucky, and Copper Ridge in Anderson Township, emphasizing the environmental and safety challenges of developing on steep terrain.

  • The Hillside Trust continues advocating for responsible hillside development, with particular attention to slope stability, tree removal, drainage, and environmental impacts. The proposed 249-unit Copper Ridge development was unanimously denied by the Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission.

  • The Trust thanks its supporters as it works toward its $270,000 fundraising goal for 2026, which will help continue protecting Cincinnati’s hillsides, natural landscapes, and important scenic views for future generations.
