Acquired: 1986, 14 acres by fee simple gift from David and Phyllis Goltra.

Features: comprised of ridgetops and hillsides, with mature trees. The preserve is located next to Cincinnati Park Board’s Broadbeck Nature Preserve.
In 2007, 36 adjacent acres were added to the Golta Preserve with a fee simple donation from J-II Homes. This builder determined that it made more economic sense to donate the property than to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars engineering it for large-scale residential development.
In 2016, The Hillside Trust purchased 17.94 acres adjacent to the Goltra Preserve utilizing Clean Ohio Fund money.
